What is the Ride In, Fly Home service?


Finding a large cardboard bike box, sourcing tools, and transporting an awkward, massive box to Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ) without a car is incredibly difficult in an unfamiliar city.
With our bundle service, you simply ride your bike to our workshop in Sarajevo Center.
We supply the box, tools, and tape, and then drive you and your packed bike in our spacious van directly to the airport terminal.

Bicycle boxing

Airlines require bicycles to be packed in an approved box before check-in. We provide everything you need: the right-sized cardboard box, all the tools to disassemble your bike, plus cutters and tape to get it sealed and travel-ready. No hunting around an unfamiliar city for supplies.

Airport transfer

A packed bike box is not easy to move on public transport. Our dedicated transfer carries you and your boxed bicycle from Sarajevo Center directly to Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ), so you arrive relaxed and on time for check-in.

We provide large heavy-duty cardboard boxes suitable for standard road bikes, gravel bikes, touring bikes, and hardtail MTBs. If you ride a very large frame (XL/XXL) or a cargo bike, please mention this when booking.

Yes - the price includes you doing the packing, with all tools and materials provided. If you'd like hands-on guidance, we're happy to help. We are cyclists ourselves and know every trick for getting a bike into a box safely.

Budget 60-90 minutes for your first time. Experienced packers can do it in 30-45 minutes. We'll make sure you have enough time before your transfer departs.

If you arrive in Sarajevo the evening before your flight, get in touch - we may be able to accommodate storage. Ask when you book.
