About Sowa (Owl)

Short, low and long custom ebike

Project Sowa
Long urban ride

This is a bike we are especially proud of. It represents everything we've learned from building over a dozen custom e-bikes-refined, strengthened, and pushed further. From the very beginning, the goal was clear: create a machine that feels powerful, reliable, and visually striking, with a bold, military-inspired presence.

At its heart is a formidable 72V Amorge battery with a 250A discharge capability, paired seamlessly with a Fardriver ND72450 controller built to match its strength. Power is delivered through the highly respected QS205 motor, known for its durability and performance. The result is a ride that feels effortlessly strong, responsive, and ready for anything.

The frame is a fully custom construction, featuring a single top tube and double bottom tube design for added rigidity and stability. The riding experience is elevated by a vintage-inspired suspended Zundapp-style seat, finished with premium custom leather for both comfort and style. At the rear, a modified Harley-Davidson fender-carefully cut and reshaped-adds a distinctive, muscular character to the bike.

Braking performance is just as impressive, with hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, supported by powerful motor braking with regenerative capability. Multiple regen settings allow the rider to fine-tune the feel, improving both control and efficiency.

Technology is fully integrated into the experience. Both the Amorge battery and Fardriver controller connect via USB to dedicated apps, giving the rider real-time insight into performance, system health, and fine-tuning options.

Visually, this bike has a personality of its own. The dual front LED lights, combined with the sharp, custom handlebar, give it a front profile reminiscent of an owl - earning it its name. This theme is carried through with a 3D-printed owl figurine mounted beneath the lights and a matching owl keychain.

Additional motorcycle-style features include a rear LED light with integrated brake light, as well as rear LED indicators for added safety and road presence. The wide tires and stretched geometry give the bike a grounded, confident stance, while the contrasting green and sand color scheme enhances its rugged, purpose-built look.

This is not just an e-bike - it's a statement piece, engineered for performance and designed to stand apart.
